Jamestown School Board To Meet Today

The Jamestown Public School District Board of Education will hold a budget work session today, March 10, at 6 p.m. in the boardroom of the administration building, 197 Martin Road, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend. The agenda also includes approval of memorandums of agreement between the district and two of its union bargaining units.

Cassadaga American Legion Auxiliary To Meet Today

CASSADAGA – The Cassadaga Legion Auxiliary will be holding its March meeting today, March 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Legion Hall, 228 Maple Ave, Cassadaga. All members are encouraged to attend.

Land Bank Board To Meet Wednesday

MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday in room 331 on the third floor of the Gerace Office Building in Mayville. A recording of the meeting will be available after the meeting. This meeting will also serve as the Land Bank’s annual meeting during which the election of officers and annual report are authorized. The land bank’s monthly meetings are conducted to discuss business associated with the land bank’s programs, acquisition and potential sale of property by CCLBC and other official business as required (agendas will be provided at the meetings). First Lutheran Church To Host Midweek Lent Service

Brenda Ecklund will be the guest speaker at the midweek noon-time Lenten Service at the First Lutheran Church Jamestown on Wednesday, March 11. Kimberly King will be the organist. The Lenten services are sponsored by the Southwestern Conference Lutherans and will be held in the Memorial Chapel which is handicap accessible. The 12 p.m. service will be followed by a soup, salad, and homemade pie luncheon in the church parlors for a nominal fee. The luncheon is sponsored by the First Lutheran Altar Society. The public is welcome to attend.

Frewsburg School Board To Meet Thursday

FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg Central Board of Education will hold a budget workshop at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, March 12, and its regular meeting follows at 6 p.m. in the middle-high school library. The public is welcome to attend.

Pairs And Spares To Meet Saturday

KIANTONE – The Pairs and Spares will meet Saturday, March 14, at 6 p.m. in the Kiantone Church fellowship hall, 646 Kiantone Road, for a pot luck supper. Speakers Jeff and Heidi Simmons will discuss their Alaska mission trip. The public is welcome to attend.
