Prendergast Library Hosts Curiosity Club Tuesdays
Every Tuesday evening, Prendergast Library’s Curiosity Club invites teen and adult patrons to experience new interests, have light refreshments and learn about activities Jamestown has to offer. During March, the Curiosity Club will learn about gardening with Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Master Gardeners. Topics include starting indoor seedlings, gardening basics, and lawn care. Curiosity Club: Gardening will run on Tuesdays in March at 5:30 p.m., starting on March 3. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required. The library is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Sewer District Board To Gather Thursday
ASHVILLE – The Administrative Board of the South & Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts will meet at noon Thursday, March 5, in the North Harmony Administration Building conference room, 5350 Stow Road, Ashville. The public is welcome to attend.
Falconer Planning Board To Meet Thursday
FALCONER – The Falconer Planning Board will meet Thursday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Building board room, 101 W. Main St., Falconer. The public is welcome to attend.
Harmony Senior Citizens To Gather Thursday
PANAMA – The Harmony Senior Citizens will meet on Thursday, March 5, at noon at the Panama Methodist Church for a tureen dinner. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to pass and their own table service. Hosts for the meeting include June Whipple, Ray Wood and Carol Hetrick. All seniors are invited and encouraged to attend.
Falconer Village Board To Meet March 9
FALCONER – The Falconer Village Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, March 9, at the Fire Exempts Hall, 3 Coleson Drive. Falconer. The public is welcome to attend.
Cassadaga Library To Host ‘Unplugged’ Event March 11
CASSADAGA – On March 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. the Seymour Free Library, Cassadaga Branch, will host an Unplugged Event. Library officials encourage patrons to temporarily turn in their phones in exchange for a prize and go analog for two hours. During that time the library will provide supplies to make a journal, play games or patrons can bring an activity to spend some quiet time in the library or cozy up with a book. The library will also provide mimosas and snacks. Reservations are requested by March 10 by calling 716-595-3822 or emailing Info@stocktonlibraries.org.
