St. Luke’s Thrift Shop Open Saturday
St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St., Jamestown, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday during the Farmer’s Market at the church. There will be a selection of ladies plus sized clothing available while all ladies winter coats and jackets, sweaters and purses are half price. Men’s dress and sport shirts, and sweaters are also half off. The houseware department is well stocked. All proceeds are used for local outreach.
Christ First UMC Youth Group To Host Dinner Saturday
A spaghetti dinner at Christ First United Methodist Church, 663 Lakeview Ave., Jamestown, will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, with those attending entering through the church parking lot entrance. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for youth. The dinner is hosted by the church’s youth group and youth leaders and will help pay for youth summer camp. For more information call 716-664-5803.
Cornell Cooperative Extension Board To Meet Monday
The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 2, at 5:30 p.m. at the Carnahan Center of Jamestown Community College. The public is welcome to attend.
Chautauqua County Planning Board To Meet Tuesday
MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s monthly meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the Chautauqua County Office of Emergency Services, 2 Academy St., Mayville. Frewsburg UPK, Kindergarten Registration Is March 19-20
FREWSBURG – Registration for students eligible for universal pre-kindergarten and kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year will be held on Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment time for registration, call Mrs. Brady at 716-569-7084. To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before December 1. To be eligible for UPK, a child must be 4 years old on or before December 1. A state birth certificate, documented immunization records, completed online registration, additional district forms, and two proofs of residency are required at time of registration. Packets with registration information are being mailed to parents the school knows are living in the Frewsburg Central School District. Anyone not receiving the packet, who has an eligible child or has any questions regarding registration should call the school office.
