Outdoor Club To Hike Sunday In Frewsburg

FREWSBURG – Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike Sunday in Frewsburg, N.Y., on the Carroll Area Nature Trail. The group wll meet at Lobbs Auto Service, 129 W. Main St., Frewsburg, at 2 p.m. Linda Ross is the leader for the hike.

Hazeltine Library Board To Meet Tuesday

BUSTI – The Hazeltine Public Library board will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the library, 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road. Members of the public are welcome to attend. TEA Party Patriots To Gather Tuesday

The TEA Party Patriots will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. at 1309 Norby Road. Issues include the issue of affordability, including the proposal by county Democrats called the “Affordability Act of 2026.” Also, the way in which the county’s second privilege of the floor will be discussed as well as an update on battery energy storage systems.

Red Cross To Host Blood Drive In Mayville

MAYVILLE – The American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Lakeside Park Community Center, 50 W. Lake Road, Mayville. All blood types are needed 1o ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 16 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.

IDA Board To Meet Feb. 24

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the second floor board room in the BWB Building, 201 W. Third St., Jamestown. The meeting is open to the public to attend in person and is also available via live stream on YouTube.

Norden Women’s Club To Host Member-Guest Luncheon

The Norden Women’s Club will host a member-guest luncheon on Friday, Feb. 27, at Hat Tea’s at 125 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood. The social hour begins at noon, with lunch served at 12:30 p.m. The program will be on the 110th anniversary of the Norden Women’s Club presented by member Birgitta Hofert.
