Student Artwork On Display At Falconer Library
FALCONER – Artwork from Lauren Kimball’s third, fourth and fifth grade students from Fenner Elementary School will be on display at the Falconer Public Library, 101 W. Main St., for the month of February. There will also be a reception to kick off the start of this display today, Feb, 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the library.
Song Sung Blue, Is This Thing On? To Show At Reg Lenna
Based on a true story, Song Sung Blue (today, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m.) follows two down-their-luck musicians (Hugh Jackman and Academy Awards Best Actress nominee Kate Hudson) form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it’s never too late to find love and follow your dreams. Song Sung Blue is rated PG-13 and is 133 minutes long. Is This Thing On? (Fri., February 6 at 7 p.m.) is the new comedy-drama from director Bradley Cooper. As their marriage quietly unravels, Alex (Will Arnett) faces middle age and an impending divorce, seeking new purpose in the New York comedy scene while Tess (Laura Dern) confronts the sacrifices she made for their family–forcing them to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form. Is This Thing On? is rated R and is 124 minutes long. Upcoming Movies at The Reg include Oscar-nominee Jessie Buckley in the Best Picture contender and historical drama Hamnet (Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.), Oscar-nominee Timothée Chalamet in the Best Picture contender and American sports comedy-drama Marty Supreme (Feb. 13 at 7 p.m.), Best Actress nominee Rose Byrne in the dark comedy If I Had Legs I’d Kick You (Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.), and Ralph Fiennes in the British WWI historic drama The Choral (Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.). Family showings are $7 in-person at the box office and $9 online and by phone. Special engagements are priced differently. The theater and box office at The Reg are located at 116 E. Allegheny Outdoor Club To Hike, Ski Sunday
On Sunday, Feb. 8, members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike or ski in Youngsville on the Brokenstraw Bike Trail. The group will meet at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church at the end of Davis Street. The hike or ski is an in and out activity of about 2 miles, flat trail along the Brokenstraw Creek.
