Gateway Longview, New Directions Announce
Merger
Gateway Longview and New Directions Youth and Family Services have announced their intent to merge into a single organization, New View Alliance, following several years of collaboration. Since 2020, the two organizations have worked together through an affiliation focused on strengthening services for children, youth, and families. After months of thoughtful discussion and evaluation, the Boards of Gateway Longview, New Directions Youth and Family Services, and New View Alliance voted to move forward with a full merger to support long-term stability, mission alignment, and organizational strength. “In many ways, we have already been operating as one–united by a shared mission and a deep commitment to the youth and families we serve,” said Carolyne DeFranco, CEO of New View Alliance. “This merger allows us to build on that foundation, support our staff, and ensure we are well positioned to meet the growing needs of our community well into the future.”
