Tree Of Life Food Cupboard Closed Friday

The Tree of Life Food Cupboard, 825 Forest Ave., Jamestown, will be closed the day after Thanksgiving, Nov. 28. Regular food cupboard hours are Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hazeltine Library Board To Meet

BUSTI – The final 2025 meeting of the Hazeltine Public Library board will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the library. The meeting begins at 5 p.m. and is open to the public. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to contact the library at 716-487-1281 for more details. The library is located at 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road, Busti, and is handicapped accessible with off street parking.

Minerva Library Board To Meet Dec. 2

SHERMAN – The Board of Trustees of the Minerva Library in Sherman will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2 at the Minerva Free Library, main floor, 116 Miller St., Sherman. The meeting is open to the public.

Randolph School Board To Meet Dec. 3

RANDOLPH – The Randolph Central School District Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. in the Randolph High School Library. The public is welcome to attend.

JCC To Host Biloxi Blues Auditions

Students, alumni and community members are invited to audition for Jamestown Community College’s production of “Biloxi Blues” from 6-9 p.m. on Dec. 3 and 4 at the Jamestown Campus Scharmann Theatre. Auditions are open to individuals of all experience levels, from first-time performers to seasoned actors. The show will take the stage in March 2026. Set during World War II, “Biloxi Blues” follows a young recruit, Eugene Morris Jerome, as he navigates boot camp life, friendship, and self-discovery under the watchful eye of his eccentric drill sergeant. The play offers humor, heart, and a timeless look at growing up during uncertain times. Mayville Senior Citizens To Meet Dec. 4

MAYVILLE – The Mayville Senior Citizens will meet Dec. 4 for a ham dinner provided by the club at the Mayville VFW. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to pass. Entertainment will be provided by Steven Eng and Mark Davis.

Norden Women’s Club To Host Luncheon Dec. 5

The Norden Women’s Club will host a member-guest luncheon on Friday, December 5, at the Moonbrook Country Club. The social hour begins at noon, with lunch served at 12:30 p.m. The program is the JHS Madrigal Singers.
