Sugar Grove VFD Turkey Party Is Saturday
SUGAR GROVE – The Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual turkey party on Friday, Nov. 7. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the party starts at 7 p.m. There will be steak platters, cheese and pepperoni, turkeys, cash and a special drawing for a live turkey.

Present “Fairy Tale Misfits”

FALCONER – Falcon Productions presents the 2025 Falconer Middle School comedy play, Fairy Tale Misfits by Jeff Fluharty, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Bill Race Athletic Complex at Falconer Central School, with a rain location of the middle-high school gym. All tickets are $5 and available at the door. Concessions will also be available.When a mysterious talking groundhog steals young Ellie’s homework, she takes off down a hole after it and finds herself in a place where nothing is as it seems — the Land of Rejected Fairy Tale Characters. Fairy Tale Misfits by Jeff Fluharty is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service Inc., Denver, Colo.
ILS Veterans Club To Host Spaghetti
Dinner Nov. 8
The ILS Veterans Club, 364 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown, will welcome Sam Boscia, who will be serving spaghetti and meatball dinners at the post on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. or until gone. The cost of the dinner is $12 for adults and $7 for children and dinners will include salad and bread. Take-out dinners are available. The dinner is open to the public. The AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary will have desserts for sale to benefit our programs. The post will open at 3 p.m.
Audubon
Day Camps Scheduled For Nov. 10-11
Jamestown, N.Y. – At Audubon Community Nature Center’s November Camps on Monday, Nov. 10, or Tuesday, Nov. 11, children ages 4 to 11 can play outdoors and be active on a school holiday before the cold sets in. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. children can explore outdoors, play, climb, run, and engage their senses as they discover all that late autumn embodies: crisp weather and crunchy leaves, animals storing and gathering food, plants ready to spend the winter safely in a state of dormancy. Children should dress for the weather, bring water and snacks and a lunch that does not need refrigeration, and extras of anything that might get wet. The cost for either day is $48 for ages 4 to 11 or $36 for Nature Center member children. Additional siblings receive a $5 discount. Enrollment is limited.
