Community Church To Host Dinner Saturday

SHERMAN – Sherman Community Church will hold its annual swiss steak dinner Saturday, Nov. 1, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 107 Church St., Sherman. The cost is $15 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Pies will be served for dessert. Takeouts are available.

Boys, Girls Club Begins Toddler Sports Session On Saturday

The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club has a new session of toddler sports beginning Saturday, Nov. 1. There will be three weeks of Toddler Basketball (ages 3 & 4) from 10 to 11 a.m. The cost is $10 for all three sessions, which will be held Nov. 1, Nov. 8 and Nov. 15. Drop-In flag football begins Monday, Nov. 3. Kindergarten through fourth grades is from 6 to 7 p.m. while fifth through ninth grades is from 7 to 9 p.m. There is no charge for the sport but club membership (form and payment) is required. The program is four weeks long, with the Nov. 10 session held at 2 and 3 p.m. due to a school holiday. Nov. 18 begins a new session of youth swim lessons. Various levels meet throughout the week from Tuesday through Saturday. The cost is $40 for the eight-week session. A membership is also needed costing $25 for the year. Sinclairville Library To Host Family Night Monday

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Sinclairville Library will host another Family Night on Monday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. The craft will be a homemade bird feeder created by coating an open pine cone with peanut butter and then rolling it in birdseed, which sticks to the peanut butter to provide food for birds. All materials provided. Ages 3 and up. A parent or caregiver must stay with children participating. Registration is required by visiting sinclairvillelibrary.org or calling 716-962-5885.

Jamestown Kiwanis Club To Host Election Day Dinner

The Jamestown Kiwanis Club will hold its annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Election Day. Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the Salvation Army, 83 S. Main St, Jamestown. Takeouts are available. Dinner is $12 for adults and $9 for children 12 and under, and will include spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread, desserts and beverages. All proceeds from the dinner will help to support local youth programs.

Auxiliary To Host Election Day

KIANTONE – The Kiantone Fire Dept Auxiliary will hold its annual Election Day dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Dinner includes swiss steak with salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, roll and choice of pie, for $17. Orders can be placed on the auxiliary’s Facebook page or by calling 716-664-5433 and leaving a message. Dinners are drive-through or take-out only.
