Mobile Pantry At Ashville United Methodist

ASHVILLE – The Mobile Pantry Truck from the Food Bank of WNY will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on today, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 5 p.m. Those receiving food must fill out a TEFAP/eligibility form and bring their own bags or boxes.

Committee To Meet Wednesday
FALCONER – The Falconer NY Forward committee will be meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in the Falconer Community Building board room, 101 W. Main St., Falconer. Falconer residents are welcome to attend to give feedback and share ideas on moving Falconer Forward as the village is preparing to apply for two state grant programs.
Chautauqua Mall To Host Blood Drive Oct. 30
LAKEWOOD – The Chautauqua Mall, 318 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 30. To make an appointment or for more information, download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App. visit RedCrossBlood.org. call 1-800-733-2767 or enable the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed 1o ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 16 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
Poland Sets Trick-Or-Treating Hours, Halloween Events
KENNEDY – The town of Poland will have trick or treating hours Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. The Town of Poland Halloween party will be held at the Kennedy Fire Department from 4:30 to 7 p.m. A costume contest will be judged at 7 p.m. The Kennedy Free Library will be hosting a Haunted Library on Oct. 31 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Access will be located at the back entrance of the library. Thrift Shop Open Wednesday Through

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St., Jamestown, will be open Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The shop will hold regular shopping hours Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shop is fully stocked with fall clothing including coats and hats. The houseware department has fall and Christmas items along with small houseware items. All proceeds are used for outreach in the community.
