Sons Of
Revolution To Meet Saturday
The Chautauqua County Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will meet Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Stockton Hotel, Stockton. The meeting will commence at 12:30 p.m. Preparations are underway for the final Pomeroy Foundation marker. Anyone with an interest in American Colonial or Revolutionary History is invited to attend.
Outdoor Club To Kayak Sunday On Allegheny River
On Sunday, Oct. 12, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will kayak the Allegheny River from Kinzua Dam to the Eagles Club in Warren. The group will meet at the Eagles Club at 1:30 p.m. Those attending need to bring a life jacket and water. Mark Simpson will be leading the float.
Ross Grange To Meet Monday
FALCONER – The Ross Grange will meet at the Falcon’s Nest on Monday, Oct. 13, with a dish to share lunch at 12:30 p.m. Lecturer Betty Wakefield has planned a program on humor. Beverages and place settings will be furnished. All interested are invited to attend.

BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Library Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the library. The public is welcome to attend.
Cassadaga Library To Host Wellness Fair Oct. 18
CASSADAGA – The Cassadaga Branch of the Seymour Memorial Free Library will host a wellness fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18. Activities include mild yoga at 10 a.m., self defense at 11 a.m., fitness at noon and intermittent fasting at 1 p.m. Agencies attending include Southern Tier Environments for Living, Chautauqua Opportunities, Alzheimer’s Association, Veteran Services, SNAP, Job Corps, Chautauqua County NY Connects, and the county Office for Aging Services. Church plans 64th Annual Native Foods Dinner
SALAMANCA — The Jimmersontown Presbyterian Church will hold its 64th annual Native Foods Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Seneca Nation Administration Building, Grand Hall, Ohi-yo’ Way.
The dinner will be dine in or take out with pick up hours noon to 2:30 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $18. The traditional dinner will include roast turkey, roast venison, fry bread, boiled corn bread, fried salt pork, hulled corn soup, mashed beans, buttered squash, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cole slaw, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, coffee/tea, water or soda.
