Rummage Sale To Be Held
Saturday
FREWSBURG – A community rummage sale and picnic will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 691 Warren Road, Frewsburg. Free hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be available beginning at 1 p.m. Winter coats are also being collected for donation to the Jamestown Urban Ministry Project in a separate area. Parking is free; those attending are welcome to bring their own chairs. The sale will be held rain or shine.
Molitor To Speak At TEA Party Meeting
Assemblyman Andrew Molitor, R-Westfield, will be featured at the monthly meeting of the Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. at 1309 Norby Road. A county legislator will also be present to discuss the county budget. A tribute to Charlie Kirk will be given.
Hazeltine Library Board To Meet Sept. 23
BUSTI – Trustees for the Hazeltine Public Library will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 5 p.m. at the library, 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road. The public is welcome to attend. Cooperative Extension Board To Meet Monday
PORTLAND – The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County Board of Directors will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at the Cornell Lake Erie Research and Extension Laboratory, 6592 W. Main Road, Portland. The public is welcome to attend.
Vegetarian/Vegan Society To Meet Sunday
The September meeting of the Chautauqua Vegetarian/Vegan Society will take place on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Jamestown Seventh Day Adventist Church on McDaniel Avenue, Jamestown. The meeting will begin with a vegan potluck dinner. Bring a vegan (no meat or dairy) dish to share. The cost will be $2 for those bringing a dish or $6 for those not bringing a dish to pass. The speaker will be Sei Paulson, Jamestown Farmer’s Market coordinator, speaking about unusual varieties of vegetables for home gardens and South Indian cooking. Bemus Point School Board To Hold Special Meeting Monday
BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Central School Board of Education will conduct a special board meeting on Monday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Office at Maple Grove High School, 3980 Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point. There will be an expected executive session immediately following the meeting.
