She also shares her experiences in educating the public about the roles of native plants in the landscape. Ploss is a local history and genealogy enthusiast whose book titled “Go Back, You Forgot the Flowers” explores the early history of Hickory Hurst Farm and is the book she will be speaking about at the Ellington Library. The Ellington Farman Library is located at 760 Thornton Road, Ellington. For more information visit the library’s Facebook page or call 716-287-2945.
