Chautauqua Lake Bridge To Close Overnight Monday, Friday

The state Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the bridge carrying Interstate 86 over Chautauqua Lake between the towns of North Harmony and Ellery will be closed to traffic in both directions from 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, until 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, and again from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, until 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, to facilitate the ongoing bridge reconstruction project. Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing State Route 394 and State Route 430.

Ripley School Board Schedules Aug. 13 Meeting

RIPLEY – A regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Ripley Central School District will be held Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Office (Room 119) of the Ripley Central School for the purpose of any and all items that come before the board. Ellicott To Hold Special Town Board Meeting

ELLICOTT – The Ellicott Town Board will hold a special board meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 5 p.m. in the council chambers. The purpose of this meeting is to accept the EPG Grant for the Fluvanna Sewer Project.

County Land Bank Board To Gather Aug. 13

Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation’s monthly board meeting will take place in Mayville at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, with the option to view live via YouTube. The public is welcome to attend.
