Frewsburg School Board To Hold Special Meeting Today

FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg Central School Board of Education will hold a special meeting today, Aug. 7, at 5:30 p.m. in the middle-high school library to authorize BAN (Bond Anticipation Notes) renewals. The public is welcome to attend. The board has also scheduled a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the middle-high school library. The board is expected to enter into executive session.

Outdoor Club

To Hike Sunday

On Sunday, Aug. 10, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will meet at 2 p.m. at the sewage treatment plant in Tidioute to hike on the Tidioute Riverside Rec Trek Trail. The trail is 4.5 miles along the Allegheny River. The group will hike 2 miles in and then back or less if needed. Linda Ross will lead the hike.

Ross Grange To Meet Aug. 11

FALCONER – The Ross Grange will hold its Aug. 11 meeting at the Falcon’s Nest Banquet Hall with a dish to share lunch at 12:30 p.m. Lecturer Betty Wakefield will present a program on Ross Grange heritage. Members are reminded to bring volunteer hours And C and G dollars for state grange projects. Beverages and table service will be provided. All interested are invited to attend.

Bemus Point School Board To Meet Aug. 11

BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Board of Education will conduct its next regular meeting on Monday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m. in the library at Maple Grove Junior-Senior High School, 3980 Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point. There will be a public hearing from 5:45 to 6 p.m. to review the district’s Code of Conduct. The public is welcome.

Falconer Village Board To Meet Aug. 11

FALCONER – The Falconer Village Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, in the Fire Exempts Hall, 3 Coleson Drive, Falconer. The public is welcome to attend.

North Lake Sewer District Board To Meet Aug. 11

MAYVILLE – The North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at the Carlson Center, Lakeside Park, Mayville. The meeting is open to the public.

Rustic Ramblers To Perform On Cassadaga

Floating Stage Sunday

CASSADAGA – The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will host its next Summer Music Series concert from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, featuring the Rustic Ramblers with opening act Jack Blodgett, a Hank Williams tribute artist. The Rustic Ramblers, who have been playing together for 21 years, will play traditional country music. All four musicians hail from Western New York. Blodgett got his inspiration from the Rustic Ramblers. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the American Legion Post 1280 or the Cassadaga Fire Hall.
