Hazeltine Library Board To Meet Tuesday

BUSTI – Trustees for the Hazeltine Public Library are set to meet on Tuesday, July 15, at 5 p.m. at the library, 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road, Busti. The public is welcome to attend. JLDC To Gather Wednesday

The Jamestown Local Development Corporation will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the mayor’s fourth floor conference room in City Hall. The public is welcome to attend.

Watts Flats UMC To Host Dinner Wednesday

Watts Flats United Methodist Church, 866 Blockville-Watts Flats Road, Ashville, will host a swiss steak dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16. The dinner will cost $10 with all proceeds to benefit the church.

Mayville/ Chautauqua Lions Club Slates Barbecue July 16

MAYVILLE – The Mayville/Chautauqua Lions Club will hold a fundraising barbecue July 16 at American Legion Post 493, Mayville, from 3 to 6 p.m. Weidners Catering will be roasting chicken in front of the legion, which will be served by Lions Club volunteers. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 or during pick-up for $16. Contact John Savage at 716 294-1716 about purchasing tickets prior to the event. Members will deliver tickets to people’s homes. At the barbecue, club members will be standing by to take orders. Follow the signs at the American Legion parking lot, and meals will be delivered to drivers’ cars. The meal includes coleslaw, potatoes and a roll.

County Health Board To Meet July 17

MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Board of Health will hold its quarterly meeting on Thursday, July 17, at 6 p.m. in the Hall R. Clothier Building, fourth floor conference room, 7 N. Erie St., Mayville. Comments received from the public will be accepted as communications, and not read during privilege of the floor. Public comments at the meetings during the privilege of the floor must be made in person.
