Tree Of Life Cupboard Closed Friday

The Tree of Life Food Cupboard, 825 Forest Ave., Jamestown, will be closed on Friday, July 4. Regular Food Cupboard hours are Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Audubon To Host First Sunday Story Time July 6

The Audubon Community Nature Center’s First Sunday Story Time is an opportunity for adults and the special 2-8 year old(s) to go on literary adventures with animals through habitats and seasons.

The next First Sunday Story Time will be held Sunday, July 6, with doors opening at 12:20 and the story starting at 12:30. Doors open to the public at 1 p.m. The program and Sunday admission are both free. Reservations for story time are requested by Saturday, July 5. To reserve a space, call the Nature Center at 716-569-2345 or go to AudubonCNC.org/events. Participation is limited to 15. Walk-ins are welcome if there is room.

Sincvlairville Library To Host Workshops

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Sinclairville Library will host a flower pounding workshop Monday, July 7, and August 4, at 5 p.m. Participants will learn which flowers and/or leaves work well and how hard to pound to get the desired results. The cost is $10 per person. Seating is limited. Register by calling 716-962-5885. The workshop is partially funded by the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System’s Mini Summer Reading Grant 2025. The library will also host a poetry reading at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 10, with special guest poet, Karen J. Weyant, an associate professor of English at Jamestown Community College. Weyant is the author of two poetry chapbooks, Stealing Dust (Finishing Line Press) and Wearing Heels in the Rust Belt (Main Street Rag). The program is presented by author/educator, John Brantingham.

Falconer Library Announces Band Concert

FALCONER – The Falconer Public Library will be sponsoring summer band concerts on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Davis Park, directly across the street from the library at 101 W. Main St. Those attending should bring a lawn chair for seating. Concerts are: July 10 – Miranda Wilcox; July 17 – Pearl City Jazz; July 24 – Razz and Friends; and July 31 – New Horizons Band.

Ross Mills Church To Host Jubilee In Hills July 11-13

FALCONER Ross Mills Church will host its third annual Jubilee In The Hills from 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 11, through noon Sunday, July 13, at the Ross Mills Church Pavilion, 3843 E. Ross Mills Road, Falconer. The weekend includes worship, music and a campfire. For more information visit the Ross Mills Church Facebook page. Free overnight camping is optional. Food is available for purchase throughout the weekend. Special breakout sessions, music and pizza are available Friday night for the youth.
