Artisan Market Begins Season

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Farmers’ and Artisan Market runs every Thursday to Sept. 4 from noon to 4 p.m. It is held on Chautauqua Avenue.

County Parks Commission To Meet Thursday

The Chautauqua County Parks Commission will be meeting Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Chautauqua County Airport conference room. The public is welcome to attend.

Amateur Radio Field Day

Exercise Is

June 28

Members of the Chautauqua County Amateur FM Association will be participating in the national Amateur Radio Field Day exercise, June 28 and June 29, at Luensman Overlook Park. Since 1933, ham radio operators across North America have established temporary ham radio stations in public locations during Field Day to showcase the science and skill of Amateur Radio. This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. Luensman Overlook Park is located at 7896 Thayer Road, Portland.

First Lutheran

To Have Guest Pastor Sunday

The Rev. Adam Rohler will be the pulpit guest of First Lutheran Church Sunday, June 29, at both the 9 a.m. contemporary service and the 10:30 a.m. traditional Service. The 10:30 a.m. service will be held in the Memorial Chapel where Rohler, tenor, will join Marika Koch, soprano soloist, in a vocal duet entitled “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling” arranged by Sir John Stainer, accompanied by Brian A. Bogey, organist/choirmaster. The public is welcome to attend!.

NCCR To Host Annual Yard Sale July 25-27

WESTFIELD – The annual Dog-Gone Good Yard Sale to benefit the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue will be held July 25-27. Donations will be accepted starting July 12. For more information email adoptions@caninerescue.org.
