Rails To Trails Picnic To Celebrate Chautauqua Trails Day Is June 21
A family picnic is planned by Chautauqua Rails to Trails on this, the inaugural event on the first Chautauqua Trails Day. The event is open to the public at noon on Saturday, June 21, at the Prospect Station Trailhead. The organization will supply hotdogs, fruit salad, lemonade, and water. Participants are welcome to bring a dish to share and a chair. Additional tables are welcome. The approximate address is 7000 Fish Road, Westfield, which is 500 feet from the trailhead. A hike north on the trail will follow for those so inclined.
