Summer Shop Continues
Today, Friday
St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St. between East Fourth and East Fifth streets, Jamestown, for a limited time will have ladies shoes, shorts and capris half price. Light jackets are $1. The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday. All proceeds are used for outreach locally.
Jackson Center To Host Slice Of History June 14
The Robert H. Jackson Center will host a Slice of History: Bob’s Pop-Up Court, a hands-on mini-exhibit, Saturday, June 14, from noon to 4:30 p.m. In Bob’s Pop-up Court, visitors will hear short arguments on real-world civic dilemmas and cast their rulings. This event is part of Civic Season, a nationwide initiative from Made By Us that connects history with action from Juneteenth to July 4. The center is also partnering with Pizza to the Polls for the day’s refreshments. After making judgments, students will add their voice to the Justice Tree with a personal reflection and make a civic pledge for the year ahead. Youth can take a selfie in a makeshift courtroom and record their verdict for social media. Free pizza and snacks will be available for participants while they last.

Quilt Guild To Host Trunk
Show Saturday
WESTFIELD – The Westfield Quilt Guild will hold a trunk show at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, featuring mother-daughter team of Chris and Danielle North from Gowanda at Westfield Presbyterian Church, 49 S. Portage St., Westfield, in the fellowship hall in the basement. Handicapped-access is available. The Westfield Quilt Guild meets at 10 a.m. to second Saturday of the month from January through November.

Canteen To Be Held Saturday
The next Fenton Canteen will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Fenton History Center, 67 Washington St., Jamestown. Veterans of all ages are welcome to join for coffee, cookies, and camaraderie. Service dogs are welcome
ILS Veterans Club To Host Spaghetti
Dinner June 14
The ILS Veterans Club, 364 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown, will welcome Sam Boscia from the Marco Polo Club. Boscia will serve a spaghetti and meatballs dinner at the post on June 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. or until gone. The cost of the dinner is $12 for adults and $7 for children and dinners will include salad and bread. Take-out dinners are available. The dinner is open to the public. The post will open at 3 p.m.
Outdoor Club
To Host Event Sunday
On Sunday, June 15, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will be biking or hiking on the Knox and Kane Rail trail. The ride will start in Kane and head west toward Nansen, with the hike or ride covering 16 miles on level crushed limestone. The group will meet at Musante Street at 1 p.m. or at the Kane trailhead at 1:45 p.m. Peter and Lisa To are leaders for the excursion.
