Summer Hours
LAKEWOOD – The Village of Lakewood will be switching to summer hours on June 2. The new hours are listed here: Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

UMC To Host Concert Sunday
WATTS FLATS – The Watts Flats United Methodist Church, 866 Blockville-Watts Flats Road, will be hosting Joyce Igo and Steven Nichols in concert Sunday, June 1, at 6 p.m.
Hawley Street, Westfield, To Be Closed Tuesday
WESTFIELD – Hawley Street, in the town of Westfield, between Route 394 and North Gale Street, will be closed to all traffic effective Tuesday, June 3, due to the rehabilitation of County Bridge 968. The closure will remain in effect until the repairs are completed and the road is reopened. A detour will be posted.

Meet June 4
SHERMAN – The Sherman Minerva Free Library board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, in the main room of the library. The meeting is open to the public.

Scheduled
MAYVILLE – The village of Mayville and town of Chautauqua will hold a public workshop Wednesday, June 4, at 6 p.m. at Chautauqua Lake Central School to review and provide feedback on the draft recommendations for the joint Implementable Comprehensive Plan. The community’s key issues identified in earlier meetings include economic vitality, community livability and housing, land use and development, and mobility and access. Those attending the June 4 workshop will have the opportunity to explore the draft recommendations, share input, offer ideas and help refine the strategies under consideration. The June 4 meeting will be one of the final opportunities to contribute before the plan moves toward adoption and implementation. For more information visit www.chautauquamayvillefuture.com.
PVCS Student Art Exhibit To Be Held June 6
CHERRY CREEK — Pine Valley Central School District’s Advanced Placement Art Show is scheduled Friday, June 6, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Trillium Lodge, 6830 Main St., Cherry Creek. The art of AP 2D Art & Design students Destiny Lindquist, Sara Sunick, and Madison Ebel will be displayed. Works by Advanced Drawing & Senior Portfolio students Olivia Greene and Lizzie Rolad will also be displayed. Binders and selected artwork will be on display outside. Students will be there to discuss their pieces with the community.
