Westfield Village Board Schedules Executive
Session
WESTFIELD – The Village Board of Trustees has scheduled a special work session meeting to be held on Monday, May 12 at 4:30 P.M. in the North Room of Eason Hall to discuss the employment history of a particular person or person(s). Therefore, The Board will immediately go into executive session.
Hazeltine
Library To Host Author Monday
BUSTI – The Hazeltine Public Library will welcome Joan Wahl as the featured author on Monday, May 12. Wahl, a lifelong Chautauqua County resident, has combined her love of travel and Nashville, Tenn. into a romance series. Her meetings with the cast and crew of the TV show Nashville served as inspiration and she will be sharing those experiences with the audience. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Community Building and is free and open to the public. The Hazeltine Public Library is located at 891 Busti Sugar Grove Road, Jamestown. To Meet
BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Library board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13. The public is welcome to attend.
Quilt Guild To Meet May 14
BUSTI – The Chautauqua Region Quilt Guild will be meeting Wednesday, May 14, at the Busti Five Corners Community Church, formerly Busti Federated Church, in Busti. A community sew will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. where members prepare quilt kits for members to take home as well as making breast cancer pillows. Members can come at any time to help work on projects. From 6 to 6:30 p.m. refreshments and social time will be held and the business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. The month’s program is purse bingo, just for fun, not a fundraiser. Visitors and new members are welcome.

Library To Artist Exhibition In May
LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Memorial Library will host an exhibit by area artist Kaycee Colburn that will feature a ribbon skirt, Native Hashtags collection, the Crying Woman and pieces from Jamestown’s first Six Nations flag raising which was led by Colburn at Jamestown’s City Hall. Colburn will give an artist talk at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, with a closing reception for her exhibit at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29.
Norden Women’s Club To
Host Luncheon May 16
The Norden Women’s Club will host a member-guest luncheon on Friday, May 16, at the Chautauqua Lake Yacht Club. Social hour begins at noon, with lunch served at 12:30 p.m. The program is a fashion show by GG My Love.
