Fenton Canteen To Be Held

Saturday

The next Fenton Canteen will be held on Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Fenton Mansion/Museum, 67 Washington St, Jamestown. Veterans of all ages are welcome to join for coffee, cookies, and camaraderie.

Revolution To Meet Saturday

STOCKTON – The Chautauqua County Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will be meeting Saturday, May 10, at the Stockton Hotel, Stockton, at 12:30 p.m. for lunch and business. This month’s meeting is preparation for several Patriot Marker dedications and the 200th anniversary of General Lafayette’s visit to Fredonia. Sons of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Revolution members are encouraged to attend, as well as anyone with a desire to join the organizations.

Panama School Board To Meet Monday

PANAMA – The Panama Central School Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the board room. The public is welcome to attend.

Bemus Point School Board To Meet May 12

BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Board of Education will conduct its next regular meeting on Monday, May 12, in the cafeteria at Maple Grove Jr/Sr. High School, 3980 Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point. The board is expected to move into executive session at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the medical, financial, credit or employment history of a particular person or corporation, or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person or corporation. The regular meeting follows at 6 p.m. The board may need an executive session after the regular meeting to discuss the medical, financial, credit or employment history of a particular person or corporation, or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person or corporation. Grant Cemetery Association To Meet May 15

NIOBE – The Grant Cemetery Association will be holding its annual meeting on Thursday, May 15, at 7 p.m. in the basement of the Niobe Baptist Church. Lot owners are welcome to attend.

Pine Valley To Host Blood Drive May 15

SOUTH DAYTON – Pine Valley Jr./Sr. High School, in collaboration with Community Blood Bank, is hosting a blood drive Thursday, May 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the gym. Walk-ins are welcome. Donors should visit the district website www.pval.org to complete a digital QuickPass on the day of donation. Donors must be at least 17 years old or 16 with parental consent, weigh at least 110 pounds, and have received no tattoos or piercings in the past three months. Donors should be in general good health, eat before donating, and bring photo identification.
