Harmony Senior Citizens Hold Meeting
PANAMA – The Harmony Senior Citizens met recently for a soup and sandwich luncheon. Acting President June Whipple welcomed everyone. Chaplain Marty LaFredo gave the dinner prayer and led the flag salute. Hosts for the day were Ray Wood, Carol Hetrick and June Whipple. Dottie Enlow reminded members there are sign up sheets for two upcoming events – a Putt Putt outing and lunch and the Warren County Fair. A letter was read from recent members asking why the organization did not issue membership cards. A discussion followed but no action was taken. Linda Kefley, president of the United Senior Council, spoke inviting more members to attend the United Senior Council meetings. The annual trivia contest is scheduled for May 8 at the North Harmony Senior Center. Sally Hagg offered to donate a basket for the raffle.
