Bemus Point School Board Slates Special Meeting
BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, to vote on BOCES board members and the BOCES budget. The meeting will be held in the superintendent’s office at Maple Grove Jr/Sr. High School, 3980 Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point, NY 14712. The public is welcome to attend.
Lakewood Library To Host Babies At The Library Informal Play
LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Memorial Library will host Babies at the Library at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday with informal play and social opportunities for infants and caregivers. The program will be tailored to the needs of infants ages 0-2 years with songs, rhymes, interactive play and pre-reading skills.

PANAMA – The Panama Union Cemetery Association’s annual meeting will be held Wednesday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the Panama Village Office on West Main Street. Lot owners are welcome to attend.
Vegetarian Vegan Society
To Meet April 27
The April meeting of the Chautauqua Vegetarian/Vegan Society will be held Sunday, April 27, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 130 Mc Daniel Ave., Jamestown, from 1 to 3 p.m. The guest speaker is Sei Paulson, a horticulturalist, gardener and market coordinator for the Jamestown Public Market. Paulson will be teaching the group about vegetables they may not have heard about before. The meeting will include a vegan potluck dinner. Bring a vegan (no meat or dairy) dish to share. The cost will be $2 for those who bring a dish to share and $6 without a dish. Sinclairville Library To Host Children’s Author April 30
SINCLAIRVILLE – Sinclairville Free Library’s Wednesday afternoon story hour with Miss Jessica will welcome local author Dawn Swanson on April 30 at 1 p.m. She will be reading her new children’s book “Charlotte and the Mischievous Cat.” Attendees will also be completing a cat craft. The program is designed for ages 2 years old to preschool and their parent or caregiver. Materials for crafts are all provided.
