Ellington Library To Host Special Activities
Saturday
ELLINGTON – The Farman Library in Ellington will host several activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of national Take Your Child To The Library day. There will be activity tables to make healthy snacks, put together puzzles, play with puppets and build in the library’s Makerspace as well as play games like Jenga, chess, checkers and a variety of card games. ABC Mouse is installed on the library’s computer while there will be activities in the library’s Children’s Room. Every child who attends Saturday will receive a plastic book tote bag, a copy of “Adventure Times” newsletter and a small gift, while supplies last. On The Fly To Meet Monday
SINCLAIRVILLE – Country Kids on the Fly will meet at the Sinclairville Free Library, 15 Main St., Sinclairville, on Monday, Feb. 10, and Monday, Feb. 17, at 5:30 p.m. This is a free program for ages 8 and up to learn fly tying and fishing techniques. All tools and materials will be provided. Adults are welcome to attend. Districts Board To Meet
CELORON – The South & Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts administrative board will meet at noon Thursday in the Water Pollution Control Facility in Celoron. The public is welcome to attend.
Mayville Senior Citizens Meet
MAYVILLE – Thirty-six members of the Mayville Senior Citizens braved the snow and cold to attend the group’s most recent meeting. A ham dinner prepared by Darlene Harper was served.
Christian Women To Meet Feb. 11
RUSSELL – Jamestown-Warren Christian Women, Village Missions Country Partners will hold its Valentine Day luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at noon at Praise Fellowship Church, Russell. Spiritual speaker will be Ruth Huck of Warren, and music will be provided by Vi Birchard, Warren. Bring a $1 brown bag item for exchange. Lunch is $7 and reservations can be made to Nancy Schuyler at 716-397-3674. There are no dues nor membership.
