Eason Hall Front Entrance Closed For Painting

WESTFIELD – The Eason Hall front entrance will have to be closed for painting on Thursday, Oct. 31 and Friday, Nov. 1. The village is encouraging people to pay online or use the side handicap entrance if they must come into the building for whatever reason. Westfield Sets Trick-Or-Treat Hours

WESTFIELD – The Village Board approved trick-or-treat hours in Westfield to be on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.

Cassadaga Legion Auxiliary Sets Upcoming Events

CASSADAGA – Members of Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280 and its auxiliary will be in front of the post on Halloween handing out candy, fruit and books for trick-or-treaters from 5 to 7 p.m. The Auxiliary and Sons of the Legion are working on Veterans Day activities to honor veterans on Sunday, Nov. 10 so veterans can enjoy other activities available to them on Nov. 11. A donation was made to the Citizens for a Better Cassadaga and the auxiliary is collecting food for local food pantries. The next auxiliary meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12.

Wellness And Forensic Center To Host Fundraiser

The Wellness and Forensic Center, 21 E. Third St., Suite 103, Jamestown, will host its inaugural Witches and Warlocks Halloween Fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Wicked Warren’s, 119 W. Third St., Jamestown. Tickets can be purchased at the door and from board members.

Mayville Senior Citizens To Meet Saturday

MAYVILLE – The Mayville Senior Citizens will meet Saturday for the group’s harvest dinner. Tickets were given to members who want to take an extra dinner home. Bill Tornstrom, program director, said Steve Eng and Mark Davis will entertain the group. The group will participate in Santa for Seniors again this year and host a collection box for monetary contributions for the Mayville Food Pantry. Both will take place at Saturday’s meeting.

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St.,between East Fourth and East Fifth streets, Jamestown, will be open

Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and regular hours Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items half price are ladies and men’s light weight jackets and rain coats, and children’s and ladies Halloween clothing and costumes. All departments are well stocked with warm clothing. The houseware’s department has a largeselection of items including blankets. All proceeds benefit the local community.
