Borello Town Hall Meeting Is Today
FREDONIA – State Sen. George Borrello, R-Sunset Bay, will hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. today at the Fredonia Fire Dept., 80 W. Main St., Fredonia. The public is invited to attend. “I encourage everyone to join us at this Town Hall meeting to voice their concerns and questions, participate in the discussion and hear the latest on some of the issues impacting our community. Forums like this are helpful in keeping us all up-to-date on the issues that affect our quality of life,” Borrello said. The Town Hall is free and no registration is required.
Proposition 1 Discussion To Be Held Oct. 23
LAKEWOOD – State Sen. George Borrello, Attorney Bobbie Anne Cox, state Assemblyman Andy Goodell and Assembly candidate Andrew Molitor will be at Lakewood Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 to discuss what Proposition 1 on the Nov. 5 general election ballot.
Red Cross To Host Blood Drive Oct. 23 At Clymer Central School
CLYMER – The American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Clymer Central School, 8672 Main St., Clymer. All blood types are needed 1o ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 16 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
Flu, COVID shots Offered At Pine Valley Oct. 24
SOUTH DAYTON – The Rite Aid Pharmacy will be at Pine Valley Jr./Sr. High School, 7827 Route 83, for a community flu and COVID vaccine clinic Thursday, Oct. 24, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the new gym foyer. County Parks Commission To Meet Thursday
The Chautauqua County Parks Commission will meet Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Chautauqua County Airport conference room. The public is welcome to attend.
St. Timothy Lutheran Church To Show Film Oct. 25
BEMUS POINT – St. Timothy Lutheran Church will host its next movie night at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at the church, 3748 Route 430, Bemus Point. The church will show the film 9 To 5 starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton. The church provides popcorn. Those attending can bring any non-alcoholic beverages they like.
