Association To Walk At RTPI Saturday

The Chautauqua-Warren Birding Association will be holding its first walk of the fall season at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute on Saturday. Those attending should meet in front of the institute at 9 a.m. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience. Fluvanna Library’s ‘Love Our Community Day’ Is Saturday

FLUVANNA – The Fluvanna Free Library will be hosting a “Love Our Community Day” at the Fluvanna Community Church on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Representatives from Allegheny Highlands Council Boy Scouts, Center for Elder Law and Justice, Compeer Chautauqua, Fenton History Center, Fluvanna Free Library, Love Inc., Southwestern Independent Living Center, YMCA, and more will be available to share information about their organizations and what the organization has to offer. The event is family friendly and free to attend. Food may be available to purchase. Ellington Library To Screen “A Tree Of Life” Tuesday

ELLINGTON – The Ellington Farman Library will host a screening of the documentary film “A Tree Of Life” at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The film focuses on the October 2018 shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue that killed 11 people as they prayed. The free documentary screening will be held at Ellington Farman Library. No registration is needed but there is limited seating. Ellington Farman Library is located at 760 Thornton Road, Ellington. Hospital Auxiliary Annual Meeting Is Tuesday

WESTFIELD – The Westfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday. The meeting will be held in the Bistro at Westfield Memorial Hospital at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served .The keynote speaker will be Julian Pierce from Park Place Acupuncture. A business meeting will follow and will include annual reports from the president, secretary and treasurer. Five directors will also be elected. Golden Agers To Meet Tuesday

LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood-Busti Golden Agers will meet Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Lakewood American Legion building. The speaker will discuss radon. Reservations and payment will be taken for the group’s “Hobo Lunch” to be served at the Oct. 15 meeting at 12:30 p.m.
