First Lutheran Church will observe Rally Day on Sunday at 10 a.m. with the opening of a new season for the church’s Sunday school. There will be a Rally Day Olympics with games, prizes and donuts. The public is welcome.

Avoiding Senior Scams Program Is Tuesday In Ellington

ELLINGTON – The Ellington Farman Library and the Center for Elder Law and Justice will present the program “Top Senior Scams and How to Avoid Them” at the library on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Presenters will be Kelsie Abbt, paralegal and Mike Lee, social worker from the center. They will cover an overview of common scams targeting seniors, focusing on how to identify scams before they start. The Center for Elder Law and Justice Elder Advocacy Program is located in Dunkirk.
