Mayville Senior citizens To Meet Sept. 21

MAYVILLE – The Mayville Senior Citizens will meet Sept. 21 for a chicken barbecue and board meeting. The group will also hold a meeting on Medicare at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Westfield on Oct. 5 led by Colleen O’Connor discussing the difference between a Medicare Supplement and a Medicare Advantage plan.

Busti Fire Department To Host Chicken Barbecue

BUSTI – The Busti Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is holding a chicken barbecue dinner to be served at the Busti Fire Department Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 21. A half-chicken with two sides will cost $15 pre-sale. See any member of the Busti Fire Department or Auxiliary for tickets. Tickets also available at U Take The Cake and Robbins Quaker State.

Reservations Requested For Fluvanna Library Holiday Bazaar

FLUVANNA – The Fluvanna Free Library Holiday Craft Bazaar will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the library, 3532 Fluvanna Ave., next to the Fluvanna Fire Hall. Table registration forms are available at the library and on the library website. The library will also email them upon request.
