Sinclairville History Fair To Include Parade September 14

SINCLAIRVILLE – The village of Sinclairville is holding a parade in conjunction with the annual History Fair on Sept. 14. Line up begins at 9 a.m. at the Sinclairville Elementary School and step off is at 10 a.m. The village is looking for participants to march in the parade and anyone is welcome to join in. Sinclairville Baby Contest To Be Held Sept. 14

SINCLAIRVILLE – The annual Sinclairville baby contest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Sinclairville Fire Hall. The contest is open to all babies under the age of two and there is no entry fee. Prior registration is not required. Babies will be judged in several categories.

Fruit Pie Contest Is Sept. 14 In Sinclairville

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Valley Historical Society will hold its annual Grandma’s Fruit Pie Contest as part of the annual Sinclairville History Fair to be held Saturday, Sept. 14. Rules and entry forms are available at the Sinclairville Superette and the Sinclairville Free Library.

The Relief Zone Holds Annual Pig Roast

FREWSBURG – The Relief Zone fundraising committee is holding its 18th annual pig roast on Sunday, Sept. 15, at The Relief Zone, 5 Frew Run Street. Food will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until gone. Tickets are available at the door for $12 for a pulled pork meal and $10 for a hot dog meal. Dinner includes a pulled pork sandwich or hot dog, corn on the cob, baked beans, applesauce, chips, fresh pie or cookies, and beverages. There will be take-out orders and outdoor seating available as well as a basket auction.

Boys, Girls Club To Begin Swim Lessons Sept. 16

The Winfred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls of Jamestown is registering participants for infant-toddler and pre-school swim classes. Classes are 30 minutes long and run in six-week sessions. Infant/Toddler Classes are for children 6 months through 4 years of age. The Monday six-week session runs Sept. 16 through Oct. 28 with no class Oct. 14. Monday class time choices are 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The Saturday six-week session runs from September 21-October 26. Class time is 10:45 a.m. There is also a six-week pre-school session at 10:15 a.m. Sept. 21 through Oct. 26 for 4- and 5-year-olds. An adult must accompany the child in the water for all classes.

Harmony History Society To Host Fair Sept. 21

BLOCKVILLE – Area residents are invited to experience the 1860s at the Living History Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Harmony Historical Society grounds, 1943 Open Meadows Road, Blockville. There is no fee to attend.
