Prendergast Library To Host Trivia Night
Friday
The James Prendergast Library will host a trivia night at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Questions are geared toward adults, but the program is family friendly.
Audubon Little Explorers Meets Saturday
On Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. area children between the ages of 3 and 8 can learn about mammal bones, furs and clues to figure out what makes mammals different from other animals like reptiles or fish. After a short indoor lesson where you learn more about local mammals and the adaptations that help them survive, the group will go outside on a guided exploration through Audubon’s forests and wetlands to look for evidence of those mammals.
A snack is provided after the hike and a craft is offered if there is time. Little Explorers takes place rain or shine, so dress for the weather. The fee is $12 for adults, $9 for children ages 3-8 and Nature Center members. Enrollment is limited to 15 children, 30 participants total. Sherman School Board To Meet Monday
SHERMAN – The Sherman Central School Board of Education will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday for its regular monthly meeting, followed by a workshop on the Sherman Central School Wall of Fame. The meeting will be held in-person in the school’s auditorium. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.

Outdoor Club To Visit Oil Creek State Park
On Sunday members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride or hike at Oil Creek State Park. The group will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1 p.m. or at Petroleum Center at 2 p.m. Earl Ross will be the leader of this activity.
South, Center Lake Sewer Board To Meet Aug. 15
CELORON – The Administrative Board of the South & Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts will meet at noon Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Water Pollution Control Facility in Celoron. The public is welcome to attend.
