Country Kids

On The Fly To Meet Thursday

SINCLAIRVILLE – Country Kids on the Fly will meet at the Sinclairville Free Library, 15 Main St., Sinclairville, on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The free program is designed for those ages 8 and up to learn fly tying and fishing techniques. All tools and materials will be provided. Adults are welcome too. Lakewood Library To Host North Shore Arts

LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Memorial Library will host an exhibition of small works by members of the North Shore Arts Alliance in August. An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend. The library is located at 12 W. Summit St., Lakewood. Harmony Seniors To Hold Chicken Barbecue At Aug. 1 Meeting

PANAMA – A chicken barbeque will be held at the next Harmony Senior Citizens meeting on Aug. 1. The cost is $10 and reservations and payment is due in advance by calling Mary Lou at 716-782-4575. The meeting will begin at noon at the Panama Methodist Church. Hosts for the day include Betty Johnson, Karen Hurlburt, Darlene Fulton, Richard Harper, Toni Campbell, Ellen Coffaro and Marty LaFredo.

Fundraiser To

Be Held Aug. 2 At Southern

Tier Distilling

No reservations are required to raise money for the Audubon Community Nature Center at “FriYAY!,” on Friday, Aug. 2. The fundraiser takes place at The Empty Bottle, Southern Tier Distilling’s official tasting room, cocktail bar, and retail shop at 2051A Stoneman Circle in Lakewood. Audubon staff and volunteers will be “guest-bartenders” from 5 to 8 p.m., serving drinks to help raise money in support of ACNC’s mission of connecting people to nature. Audubon receives 10% of all purchases during that time, including online orders at Facebook.com/EmptyBottleSTDC. Live music will be provided by Rochester’s 5 Second Rule, Facebook.com/5SecondRuleRochester.
