Jubilee In

The Mills

Begins Friday

FALCONER — The Second Annual Jubilee in the Mills will be from 5:30 p.m. Friday to noon Sunday at Ross Mills Church Pavilion, 3843 E Ross Mills Road.

Bring your family or yourself for a weekend of worship, music, campfires and fun with your faith community. See Ross Mills Church Facebook page for schedule. Free overnight camping is optional. Food available for purchase throughout the weekend. Special breakout sessions, music and Friday night pizza for the youth. Message for questions or to reserve a campsite at (585) 376-4220.

Celoron To Begin Summer Concert Series Tonight

The Celoron Summer Concert Series begins tonight with the Charity Nuse Duo. Concerts are held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Desi Arnaz Bandshell in Lucille Ball Memorial Park. Future performances include: July 17 – Kev Rowe and Friends; July 24 – The Probables (unplugged); and July 31 The Livingroom Jam Band. Those attending should bring a lawn chair for seating.

Canteen To

Meet Saturday

The Fenton Canteen will meet on Saturday from 10 to noon in the Fenton Mansion/Museum, 67 Washington St., Jamestown. New veterans are always welcome to join in for coffee, cookies and camaraderie. Several veterans have been on an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. since the June canteen and have stories to share.

Outdoor Club

To Hike, Kayak This Weekend

Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike Saturday at Cornplanter Forest near Tionesta. The group will start the hike at 10 a.m. It will be a 5-mile, moderately difficult hike. From Tionesta take Route 36 north about 3 miles; turn right on Neiltown Road and drive another mile. There will be a sign for the Cornplanter Forest and a road to a parking area on the left. Charlene James will be the leader. On Sunday members will kayak, meeting at the Marden E Cobb launch at Levant where County Touring Route 66 crosses Cassadaga Creek at 2 p.m. or in front of Tractor Supply in North Warren at 1 p.m. Tom Patterson is the leader for thekayak trip.

Kidder Church To Hold Worship

At Bandshell

Kidder Memorial Global Methodist Church will be celebrating worship at the Allen Park bandshell on Sunday at 10 a.m. All are welcome.

North Lake Sewer District Board To Meet Monday

MAYVILLE – The North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the Carlson Center, Mayville. The meeting is open to the public.
