Watts Flats UMC To Host Chicken Dinner May 22

WATTS FLATS – The Watts Flats United Methodist Church, 866 Blockville-Watts Flats Road, will host a chicken and biscuit dinner with desserts on Wednesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The dinner will cost $10 with all proceeds to benefit the church.

Ashville Library To Host Collage Workshop

ASHVILLE – The Ashville Public Library will host a collage workshop from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, led by Linda Kozel, a registered nurse, certified holistic nurse, certified clinical aromatherapist and a nurse coach with a background largely in mental health. She is offering a free Collage Workshop at the Ashville Library in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. “Creativity is a powerful tool for promoting mental well-being, relieving stress, and reconnecting with joy,” she said. The workshop is open to all levels of experience and no prior art skills are required. The class is geared toward adults, but younger people are welcome to participate. Participants will be provided with all necessary materials and will have the opportunity to create their own unique collage.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church To Host

Spaghetti Dinner Thursday

FALCONER – Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Falconer will host a take-out spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday. The price will be $10 for adults and $5 for children. The proceeds will benefit the Bethlehem Lutheran Mission Fund.

Radio Club To Hold SKYWARN Training

The Chautauqua County Amateur FM Association Radio Club, in cooperation with the National Weather Service, will be conducting a SKYWARN spotter training seminar at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Carlson Community Center at Lakeside Park, 50 West Lake Road, Mayville.
