Lakewood Library To Host Emotion Code Workshop

LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Library will host an Emotion Code Workshop at 5:30 p.m. today. The Emotion Code technique, created by Dr Bradley Nelson, can help release trapped emotions that cause or contribute to physical pain, lack of motivation, depression, anxiety and more. The program is free and open to the public. It is recommended that participants read The Emotion Code book, but it is not a prerequisite for the class. Hydration is key to the effectiveness of this work, so participants are asked to bring drinking water. Instructor Lisa Margaret has more than 20 years’ experience in holistic wellness, and is a certified emotion code practitioner, cBody bode practitioner, certified life purpose coach and has a masters in transpersonal psychology.

Prendergast Library To Host Concert Today

The James Prendergast Library will host the State University At Fredonia’s Bold and Brass group at 5:30 p.m. today in the library’s Fireplace Room. The concert is part of a partnership between the library and the college’s Fredonia School of Music. After the performance, there will be a meet and greet with performers. There is no charge to attend and the public is welcome to attend. The program is part of the 2024 Murray L. Bob Community Education Initiative and is sponsored by Price Abstract Company LLC.

Falconer Students Art Exhibit Opens Today

FALCONER – The Falconer Public Library is hosting a Spring Art Show opening reception today from 5 to 6 p.m. The show features the artwork of students in Aleida Foulk’s advanced art classes at Falconer Central School. The display will be in the library for the entire month of April.

South Center Lake Sewer Board To Meet

CELORON – The Administrative Board of the South & Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts will meet at noon Thursday at the Water Pollution Control Facility in Celoron. The public is welcome to attend.

Red Cross Blood Drive Is Thursday

LAKEWOOD – The American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chautauqua Mall. To make an appointment or for more information, download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App. visit RedCrossBlood.org. call 1-800-733-2767 or enable the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed 1o ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 16 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
