Cassadaga Valley School Board To Meet Wednesday

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Cassadaga Valley Central School Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the middle-high school multi-purpose room. The public is welcome to attend.

Bemus Point Historical Society Gathers Wednesday

BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Historical Society Guest Speaker Series continues on Wednesday as Arthur Pearson, Roger Tory Peterson Institute CEO, is welcomed to enlighten members on the life and career of Roger Tory Peterson. The event is free and open to the public beginning at 7 p.m. in the Bemus Point village hall on Alburtus Avenue in Bemus Point. The adjacent Bemus Point Historical Society Museum will be open beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday for tours one hour prior to the lecture. United Senior Council To Meet Thursday

PANAMA – The United Senior Council of Chautauqua County will meet on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Panama United Methodist Church. All county seniors are welcome to attend. The council’s annual trivia contest will be held Thursday, May 9. More information will be available soon.

Ellington Baptist Church To Host The Needhams April 12

ELLINGTON – The Baptist Church of Ellington, 530 Route 62, will be presenting the award-winning gospel group The Needham’s in concert on Friday, April 12, at 7 p.m. After the performance there will be an opportunity to meet The Needham’s in a meet and greet with refreshments. The concert is free, with a free will offering taken during the performance.

Frewburg Lions, Leo Club To Hold Chicken BBQ

FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg Lions Club and its Leo Club will hold a drive-through chicken barbecue dinner on Saturday, April 13, from 4;30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church parking lot, 45 Falconer St., Frewsburg. The dinner will be a fundraiser and the proceeds will benefit local needs. Meals will be prepared by 3C’s Catering and will include a half-chicken, baked Beans, macaroni salad, a roll and cookie. The charge will be $17. Presale tickets are preferred. Call 716-969-6488 by Sunday. A minimum number of tickets will be available the day of the dinner.
