Cassadaga Information Meeting Is Monday
CASSADAGA – The Village of Cassadaga Planning Board is hosting a Community Information Town Hall on Monday, March 18, at 7 p.m. in the Community Room at the Cassadaga Fire Hall, 22 Mill St.
The topic will be a grant opportunity with a significant amount of money earmarked for transformation and renovation projects specifically for small villages. All Cassadaga area residents are urged to attend, share their ideas and ask questions.
Myers Library Board To Meet Tuesday
FREWSBURG – The Myers Memorial Library will be holding its next board meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
The public is welcome to attend.
JCC Board Gathers Tuesday
The Jamestown Community College Board of Trustees will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the boardrooms of the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses and North County Center. Register to attend with Marsha Hern at 716-338-1060 or email MarshaHern@mail.sunyjcc.edu. The public is welcome to attend.
Car Club To Meet Wednesday
The CLRAACA will have its monthly general meeting on Wednesday at the War Vets Recreation Club in Fluvanna. The guest speaker will be Gary Nelson from the Martz Observatory. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Those attending do not have to own an antique auto to attend – anyone with an interest in automobiles is welcome.
First Lutheran To Hold Lenten Midweek Services This Wednesday
The Rev. Rob Alport-Cohoon, pastor of Bethel Lutheran Church, will be the guest speaker at the midweek noon-time Lenten Service at the First Lutheran Church on Wednesday. The Rev. Mark E. Swanson, pastor of First Lutheran Church, Jamestown, will be the liturgist. Brian A. Bogey will be the organist. The Lenten services are sponsored by the Southwestern Conference Lutherans and will be held in the Memorial Chapel which is handicap accessible. The noon service will be followed by a soup, salad, and homemade pie luncheon in the church parlors for a nominal fee. The luncheon is sponsored by the First Lutheran Altar Society. The public is welcome to attend.
Mayville Senior Citizens To Meet
The Mayville Senior Citizens will meet March 21 with a dish-to-pass luncheon. Patrick Norrod of Frewsburg will speak of his experience with National Wreaths Across America Day in December 2023. He went to Maine loaded up 5,000 AMA wreaths and then delivered them to cemeteries in four states to honor veterans.
April 1 Deadline To Remove Pine Hill Winter Decorations
FALCONER – All winter decorations must be removed from Pine Hill Cemetery grave sites prior to April 1. Any remaining items will be discarded.
