Holy Apostles Choir Celebrates St. Patrick At Sunday Mass

The Holy Apostles Choir will celebrate St. Patrick with Irish music on Sunday at the 11 a.m. mass at Saint’s Peter and Paul Church. The choir will sing prelude music prior to the beginning of mass at 10:55 a.m. All are welcome to attend and are encouraged to wear their Irish green.

Red Cross To Hold Blood Drive Monday In

Westfield

WESTFIELD – The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday at Eason Hall, 23 Elm St., Westfield. To make an appointment or for more information, download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit RedCrossBlood.org, call 1-800-733-2767 or enable the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.

Prendergast Library Board To Meet March 21

The James Prendergast Library’s next Board of Trustees meeting will be held at the library on Thursday, March 21, at 5:15 p.m. Board meetings are open to the public.

Health Dept. To Hold Falconer Rabies Clinic March 23

FALCONER – The Chautauqua County Health Department will hold a free rabies vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 23, at the Falconer Highway Department building, 1 Coleson Drive, Falconer. Animals must be pre-registered to receive vaccinations. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge to all dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets three months of age and older. While supplies last, distemper shots and/or microchips will also be available through the Chautauqua County Humane Society at no cost. The clinic is co-sponsored by the Chautauqua County Humane Society.
