Meets Saturday
STOCKTON — The Chautauqua chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will meet at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Stockton Hotel, 2 Stockton-Kimball Stand Road, Stockton. Members will order lunch from the menu. Any persons interested in the War for Independence are welcome to attend. Spouses are also welcome.
Bemus Point Library Board Gathers Feb. 13
BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Library Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the library, 13 Main St., Bemus Point. The public is welcome to attend.
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper Planned
FREDONIA — Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 Day St., Fredonia, will hold its Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Feb. 13, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The entire community is invited to attend this free-will offering event in the parish hall, which includes pancakes with various toppings and side dishes. Sewer District Meets Tuesday
BROCTON — There will be a meeting of the Board of Directors for the Portland Pomfret Dunkirk Sewer District on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The meeting will be at the Portland Town Hall, 87 West Main Street, Brocton. The meeting is open to the public.
Lakewood-Busti Golden Agers To Meet On Feb. 20
LAKEWOOD — The first meeting of 2024 for the Lakewood-Busti Golden Agers will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m. at the Lakewood American Legion building. A representative of Chautauqua County’s Office for the Aging will be our speaker. Installation of the group’s officers for 2024 will take place at the meeting. At the March 19 meeting, a representative of Habitat for Humanity will be the speaker. All local seniors are welcome to attend the meetings. Call Cecile Wilson at 716-483-0101 with any questions.
CMP Chorale Looking For
New Members
Starting Feb. 26, Community Music Project is opening its doors to new members who share the enthusiasm for creating beautiful harmonies and unforgettable musical experiences under the guidance of director Rebecca Ryan. CMP Chorale offers numerous benefits. Singing has been shown to improve mental well-being, boost confidence, and foster a sense of community. No audition is required to join. Rehearsals will take place every Monday starting Feb. 26 at the Southwestern High School chorus room from 7 to 9 p.m. The concert will take place on May 5.
