Area Church To Premiere Film ‘Letter To The American Church’

KIANTONE – The movie debut of “Letter to the American Church” by Eric Metaxas will be shown at Koinonia Fellowship, 1427 Warren Jamestown Blvd., at 6: 30 p.m. Thursday. For those interested there will be a time of discussion following the movie. This movie is based on Metaxas’ book “Letter to the American Church” to encourage the church to stand up to and be bold against the prevailing evil manifest in trends, philosophies and ideas warring against the church today. Fenton Canteen To Offer Virtual Tour For Vets

Fenton Canteen will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Fenton Mansion and Museum, 67 Washington St., Jamestown. Local veterans will be given a virtual tour, which covers the exhibits in the whole building. Veterans are encouraged to visit.

Ross Grange To Gather Feb. 12

Ross Grange will host the County Pomona Grange on Monday, Feb. 12, at the Falcon’s Nest Banquet Hall. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. Betty Wakefield, program director, has arranged for a speaker to follow lunch. The business meeting will follow the program. All interested are invited to attend.

FALCONER — The Falconer Village Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, in the fire exempts hall, 3 Coleson Dr.

Chautauqua Lake School Board Meets Feb. 13

MAYVILLE — Members of the Chautauqua Lake Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, in the school’s secondary library. The meeting was previously scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024.

Christian Women Group To Meet

Village Missions Country Partners Jamestown-Warren Christian Women will meet for its Valentine luncheon on Tuesday at noon at Praise Fellowship Church, Russell. Guest speaker also singing Christian music will be Brenda Carr of Jamestown. Bring a $1 brown bag item for exchange. The menu is soup, salad, and dessert. Fluvanna Library Hosts ‘Love Our Community’ Days

FLUVANNA – The Fluvanna Free Library will host a “Love Our Community Days” event featuring area organizations. The public is invited to visit the library from 3 to 5 p.m. on each of the days listed to learn more about the organizations and the services they offer. The event is free and open to the public. Organizations in Chautauqua County will have staff on hand to answer questions, provide information and help find resources. Tuesday will focus on senior services, followed by family services on Wednesday, area service organizations on Thursday. Future days include learning and fun on Feb. 13 and pet adoption and pet health on Feb. 14. The Fluvanna Free Library is located at 3532 Fluvanna Avenue Ext..
