Southwestern School Board To Meet Tuesday

The Southwestern Central School Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the board room in the middle school. The public is welcome to attend.

Turner Winter Series Begins Tuesday

The first discussion in the annual Turner Winter Series will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H. Jackson Center’s Carl Cappa Theater. The series’ first guest will be Randall Perry, executive director of the Chautauqua Lake & Watershed Management Alliance, speaking about the “State of Chautauqua Lake.”The public is welcome to attend the lecture, which will also be recorded and put online.

Antique Car Club To Meet Wednesday

The CLRAACA will have its monthly general meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the War Vets Recreation Club in Fluvanna. Those attending do not have to own an antique auto to attend – anyone with an interest in automobiles is welcome.

Falconer Library Board To Meet Thursday

FALCONER — The Falconer Public Library’s next board meeting will be at 8 a.m. Thursday in the library, 101 W. Main St., Falconer. The public is welcome to attend.

Mayville Senior Citizens To Meet Jan. 18

MAYVILLE — Weather permitting, the Mayville Senior Citizens will meet at noon at the VFW in Mayville on Jan. 18. The speaker will be Rebecca Magnuson, owner of the She Sings Cafe in Mayville. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to pass along with table service or $5.

North Lake Sewer Board To Meet Jan. 22

MAYVILLE – The North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, in the Carlson Center in Mayville. The meeting is open to the public.

Memorial Library Accepting Tiny Art Show Submissions

FREWSBURG – The Myers Memorial Library in Frewsburg is looking for art for its Tiny Art Show in February. All art must be turned into the library by Jan. 31. Artwork should be smaller than 6″x6”. There are small 4″x4″ canvases available at the library for $1. The artwork can be any medium and the theme this year is “Lovable Pets.” The Tiny Art Show will run from Feb. 1 through Feb. 29 with an opening reception at the library on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
