Harmony Tax Payment Address Incorrectly Listed

Due to a printing error the Town of Harmony tax remittance address on the front of the tax bills is listed incorrectly. The correct address is 1001 Blockville Watts Flats Road, Ashville. For more information, call 716-782-4568, option 3.

Jamestown School Board To Meet Thursday

The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at CC Ring Elementary School, 333 Buffalo St., Jamestown. There will be a short school presentation at 5:45 p.m. before the meeting. The new Jamestown High School mascot name will be presented to the board for approval and Ben Drake will be giving a brief overview. The packet for the meeting is ready for viewing on BoardDocs. Langworthy To Speak In Bemus Point

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Historical Society Guest Speaker Series enters 2024 as historian Todd Langworthy is welcomed to present a living history presentation as First Lieutenant Alonzo H. Cushing, veteran of the American Civil War and Medal of Honor recipient. The event will be held at the Bemus Point Village Hall on Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Striders To Host Logo Launch Party

Chautauqua Striders will host a logo launch party on Friday during an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at its 301 E. Second St. offices. The open house will include light refreshments, a prize drawing and the reveal of the new logo. Reservations are requested by Tuesday by calling 716-489-3480.

Sinclairville Free Library To Host Game Night Jan. 11

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Sinclairville Free Library will host a family game night from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday featuring the Oregon Trail card game. The game is for ages 12 and up, and a variety of other board and card games will also be available. The Oregon Trail “Choose Your Own Trail” book series will be available for check out, as well as supplies for a papercraft to create a small covered wagon. The library’s online book club will meet Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Mr. Murder by Dean Koontz. Contact the library for the link to participate in the discussion on Zoom.
