Biblical Study Of Gaza Continues Today

KIANTONE – “The Bible and Gaza” will continue at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18, at the Kiantone Congregational Church. The study examines what the Bible has to say about Gaza and how the study of Scripture is essential for bringing understanding to the conflict in that region. Fly-Tying Classes Scheduled For Dec. 11, Dec. 18

SINCLAIRVILLE – Country Kids on the Fly will meet at the Sinclairville Free Library, 15 Main St., on Mondays, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18, at 6 p.m. The program is free for those ages 8 and up to learn fly tying techniques. All tools and materials will be provided. Parents must accompany youngsters to the first meeting to fill out and sign papers. Adults are welcome, too. JCC Committees To Meet Tuesday

The SUNY Jamestown Community College Board of Trustees will hold committee meetings on Tuesday, Dec. 12, in the boardrooms of the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses and the North County Center. CVCS Board To Meet Wednesday, Thursday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Cassadaga Valley Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, in the middle-high school multi-purpose room. The school board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, in the middle-high school multi-purpose room. The board will go into an executive session to discuss matters relating to the employment histories of a particular person or persons and matters related to the hiring of a new superintendent of schools.

Chautauqua Lake School Board Meets Dec. 13

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua Lake Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, in the secondary library at Chautauqua Lake Central School. A public hearing will take place prior at 6:30 p.m. for the proposed firefighter and first responder tax exemption.
