Revolution To Meet Saturday

STOCKTON – The Chautauqua Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will meet Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Stockton Hotel. Norm Carlson will present a short program on a “forgotten son of Busti.” Attendees will order lunch from the menu. Anyone interested in the War for Independence is more than welcome to attend. Spouses are also welcome.

Fenton History Center To Hold Annual Holiday Open House

The Fenton History Center is holding its annual holiday open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Walk through the historic mansion decorated for the holidays. Santa Claus will be in attendance handing out goodies in the center’s Drawing Room. There will also be Christmas caroling and refreshments in the dining room. The event is free and open to the public.

Bemus Point School Board Meets Monday

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, in the Maple Grove Middle-High School cafeteria on Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point. An executive session will be held at 5:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Lakewood Library To Host Winter Bird Program

LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Memorial Library will host a program on the world of winter birds on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 5 p.m. From the tufted titmouse to the dark-eyed junco and the barred owl, presenter Devin Banning will discuss these and many other feathered wonders. Discover how to participate in the Audubon Christmas Bird Count and how to make a meaningful impact on scientists’ understanding of bird ecology. The Lakewood Memorial Library is located at 12 W. United Senior Council To

Meet Dec. 14

CELORON — The United Senior Council of Chautauqua County will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at the Celoron Community Building. Those attending should bring a dish to pass and table service. The group will sing carols and play Christmas Bingo. The group will not mee in January or February. The next meeting will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at the Adult Day Care Center at the corner of Fifth and Church streets in Jamestown.
