Thrift Shop Is Open Saturday

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St. between East Fourth and East Fifth streets in Jamestown, will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All departments are fully stocked with winter and Christmas clothing and gift items and small household items. Ladies pants and jeans are $1 and ladies dresses are 50% off. The shop is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds are used locally.

Kiantone Auxiliary To Host Holiday Wonderland

The Kiantone Fire Department Auxiliary will hold its first Thrift and Gift Holiday Wonderland from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the fire hall. The event will include an appearance by the Grinch, and refreshments will be available.

Frewsburg School Board To Meet Monday

FREWSBURG — The Frewsburg Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in the middle-high school multi-purpose room. The purpose of the meeting is to hold an anticipated executive session to discuss matters relating to the employment histories of a particular person or persons.

Historical Society To Meet

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Valley Historical Society will meet on Tuesday at the Sinclairville Fire Hall at 6 p.m. This is the annual Christmas meeting and all attendees are asked to bring a dish of food to pass for the annual dinner.

Attendees should also bring their own table service and beverage. After the dinner, members will discuss history discussed during the previous year and what’s coming up in 2024.

Any interested person is invited to attend.

Chautauqua Lake Sewer Meeting Is Dec. 5

The administrative board of the South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts will meet at noon Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the water pollution control facility. Those interested in joining the meeting by video conference can call 646-558-8656 with the meeting ID 999-449-0210.

Auxiliary To Hold Annual Christmas Dinner

LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Rod and Gun Auxiliary will hold its annual Christmas dinner and installation of officers at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, in the club’s dining room. Paid reservations must be made with Connie Whitman at 716-763-0544 by Dec. 1. Dinner choices are lasagna at $13 for members and $18 for guests; stuffed chicken breast at $15 for members and $20 for guests; or queen cut prime rib at $23 for members and $28 for guests. Dinners include salad, baked potato, roll and dessert. Tax and tip are included. The auxiliary board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, in the board room. The board will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for “Toys for Tots.” Greeters for the evening will be Nancy Remington and Coralyn Boehler. Helpers will be Wanda McKotch and Helen Johnson. The group’s next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2024.
