Cemetery Sets Winter Gate Hours

Beginning Monday, the gates at Lake View Cemetery in Jamestown will be locked at 4:30 p.m. daily. The hours will remain in effect until April of 2024.

Tours To Be Given Saturday

FALCONER – A guided trolley tour of the Village of Falconer will be presented on Saturday led by Brenda Cavallaro, village historian. The tour will begin in front of the Falconer Public Library, 101 W. Main St., immediately after the 5 p.m. Santa Parade. Tours should begin by 5:30 p.m. Space is limited. Cassadaga Sons Of Legion

Squadron To Host Spaghetti Dinner Saturday

CASSADAGA – Cassadaga Sons of the American Legion Squadron 1280 is hosting a spaghetti dinner from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cassadaga Memorial American Legion Post 1280 to honor workers in education in Chautauqua County for American Education Week. The cost is $6 for anyone who works at a school or for any veteran and free to any veteran who works in education. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets for anyone else are $12.

Asheville Fire Auxiliary Craft Show Is Saturday

ASHVILLE – The Ashville Fire Department Auxiliary’s annual craft show will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ashville Fire Hall on Stow Road, Ashville, across Route 394 from Hogan’s Hut. There will be craft vendors, basket giveaways, cookie plates and lunches available.

Falconer Little League Board To Meet Monday

FALCONER – The Falconer Little League Board of Directors will meet MOnday at 6:30 p.m. at Levant Wesleyan Church. All prospective coaches and volunteers should attend to help plan for the operation of the league for the 2024 season.
