The next meeting of the Jamestown Public Schools Board has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Love Elementary School, 50 E. Eighth St., Jamestown.

Car Club To Gather Wednesday

FLUVANNA – The CLRAACA will have its monthly general meeting Wednesday at the War Vets Recreation Club in Fluvanna. Pre-meeting pizza will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the general meeting at 7 p.m. Those attending do not have to own an antique auto to attend; anyone with an interest in cars is welcome

Lakewood Library To Offer ‘Bones’ Program

LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Memorial Library, 12 W. Summit St., Lakewood, will host its next Wild Wednesday presentation on bones at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Ever find a bone on a foray into nature and wonder what kind of animal left it? Ever wonder why people don’t tend to find more bones and antlers? Ever wonder how old one actually is and what that has to do with a talk on bones? Such topics will be covered Wednesday.

Sinclairville Library To Host Drawing Class

SINCLAIRVILLE – A basic drawing class with Brenda Nickerson will be offered at the Sinclairville Free Library on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. The library is located at 15 Main St., and information about upcoming events is available on the website www.sinclairvillelibrary.org. Sinclairville Fire Dept. To Host Turkey Party

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting its annual turkey party on Friday. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Hot dogs, beverages, chips will be provided. A variety of meat packages as well as turkeys to be raffled. Parking available in the Fire Company parking lot, Main Street, and on Lester Street.

Chess Club Meets Saturdays

The Tamerlane Chess Club is meeting at noon Saturdays at Chautauqua Comics. 214 Fairmount Ave., Jamestown. There is no charge to participate. There is also a free chess library with chess sets and books to check out. Beginners are encouraged to attend.
