Jamestown School Board To Meet Today

The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. today in the board room of the administration building at 197 Martin Road, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic To Be Held Wednesday

FINDLEY LAKE — The Chautauqua County Health Department will hold a free rabies vaccination clinic from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mina Town Offices, 2883 North Road, Findley Lake. Animals must be pre-registered to receive vaccinations. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge to all dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets three months of age and older.The clinic is co-sponsored by the town of Mina and Chautauqua County Health Department. Alumni Association Holds Annual Meeting

The Bemus Point 50-plus Alumni Association gathered for its annual alumni meeting. It was an open house on July 15 at the Fluvanna Fire Hall. The Alumni Association presented the Charles and Irene Hallberg awards to the 2023 graduating seniors from Maple Grove High School. Steve Whitman was the recipient of the four-year college award. Whitman plans to attend Alfred State College to further his education in the electrical and construction fields. Kaiden Brown was the recipient of the two-year technical award. Brown is planning to go to Jamestown Community College for welding. Also receiving awards were Adam Brisky and Brianna Loomis. These awards were presented by the Maple Grove Class of 1972 and were for recipients who are entering into a skilled trades program. The group’s next meeting will be held July 13, 2024.

Frewsburg School Board To Gather Thursday

Falconer Office Hours To Be Limited

FALCONER — The village of Falconer offices will be open for limited hours from Sept. 18 to 22 while the office staff is away at training.

Chautauqua County Ethics Board To Meet On Sept. 13
